Ramadan Food Distribution
Provide fresh Suhoor and Iftar this Ramadan in Pakistan
Pakistan is home to an estimated 38.6 million people living below the poverty line, which translates to a poverty rate of 24.3%. As we approach the holy month of Ramadan, it is important to remember our blessings and the purpose Allah SWT has given us. We are called upon to share our wealth with others and to help those in need. Let us treat this Ramadan as if it is our last.
Join the community at Faizan-E-Tayyeba in providing fresh suhoor and iftar to families and individuals in underserved communities in Pakistan. To help alleviate hunger and food insecurity for those in need, we only serve freshly prepared food to everyone who attends Suhoor and Iftar at our center. By keeping this practice, we avoid food waste.
Alhamdulillah we have 8 established locations in Pakistan:
- Pattoki, Punjab
- Tando Jān Mohammad, Sindh
- Sehwān, Sindh
- Gohar, Punjab
- Lahore, Punjab
- Mīrpur Khās, Sindh
- Shaikham Kalan, Punjab
- Gujranwala, Punjab
This Ramadan, we intend to hold Suhoor and Iftar at all of our 8 established locations in Pakistan. Our dedicated volunteers will be preparing and cooking fresh food daily.
Last year we served an average of 200 people for Suhoor and Iftar at each location.
Suhoor ($1.40 per person) will include the following:
- Homemade paratha
- Omelette
Iftar ($2.10 per person) will include the following:
- Water
- Milk with Rooh Afza
- Samosa
- Fresh cut fruit
- Dates
- In-house fresh roti with salan (meat with gravy)
- Rice with meat (Pulao or Biryani) or Rice with salan (meat with gravy)
